Goettafest 2011!

Yes, you did just read that right!  Goettafest!  It is an entire festival in Northern Kentucky dedicated to that Cincy favorite.....Goetta!  If you can imagine it they are probably making it at this festival.  The picture above is recapping all the booths and what was on the menu for the day!

There was other things to eat there.  They had hot dogs and dough pretzels to cover those crazy people that were not coming to Goettafest for the Goetta!  There was also plenty of beer and frozen drinks to go around!

Once we had eaten our way through all the food booths, we wanted to check out what other things could  be done with Goetta.

There was plenty of other things as well.  There was live music, and even a karaoke station which I am sure gets very busy later into the evening!  There was even a few kid rides to keep everyone in the family busy!

I think the best part was that it was right on the Kentucky side of the Ohio river, and you had all of  the Cincinnati skyline in the back ground.

Overall, I think it was a good time had by all!  I will be making sure to stop in next year as well!  Even though it was really hot it was totally worth the food and creativity around Goetta!  I am actually feeling very inspired myself.  I will be making a big pot of Goetta later this week.
